We're okay...
Gustav gave us a beating, but it could have been much worse for us. I work with quite a few people whose homes are destroyed, so David & I count ourselves very lucky. We did have 3 trees fall in our yard (all on our fence) & ALOT of debris to clean up, we just got power back on a few hours ago (Thank you Lord!!!) We were worried b/c they were telling us it could be 4-6 WEEKS before we got it back on. Now we must re-stock for IKE (BLAH!!) Praying it downgrades. I'll post some pics later, thanks for all of your prayers & emails.

I have been following your blog for quite some time. I am so glad to hear that you were not affected as bad as you could have been! I agree with Courtney that someone was watching over you. I would love to talk with you about your role as a NICU nurse! My twins were in the NICU for quite some time and I am trying to get involved with our local NICU here in Huntsville, AL. Take care!
